Loralei has been fascinated with tattooing and tattoo culture since they first legalized the practice in Oklahoma back in 2006 (her mother was NOT impressed when she asked to have a tattoo themed birthday party that year). While her life has moved her in quite a few different directions, 2013 changed everything when she moved to Japan. Her residency in Okinawa opened up avenues that introduced her to the tattoo culture that she was looking for, and the rest is history.

Loralei is passionate about exploring different tattoo styles and learning all kinds of application techniques. A student of pop culture, you'll also find that a lot of her tattoos have references to music, theater, and art outside of the tattoo world.

When she's not at the studio, knocking out her latest art project, Loralei loves nothing more than singing karaoke, cooking incredible food, and spending quality time with her wonderful husband and children.
